It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Payne of Paducah, Kentucky, born in Orange, Texas, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Greg Payne; and his parents, John Edwin Payne and Helen Leray Payne. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hale Payne; his son Chuck Payne (Yolanda) of Paducah; his siblings, Doris Potocki (Donnie) of Christopher, Illinois and Michael Payne (Marilyn) of New Mexico; his grandchildren, Jessica Blaine (Evan Lee), Tad Payne, Lexie Taylor and Alex Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Braygen Blaine, Bud Blaine, Baylor Blaine and Brier Blaine.
