With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ray Sherrill of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maurice Sherrill and Linda Sherrill (Bolt); and his wife Penny Sherrill.
