It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wurtz of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Wurtz to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou; his parents, William Wurtz and Clara LaVera Kaufman Wurtz; and his brothers-in-law, James Champion and Richard Usry.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Wurtz of Bowling Green and William Wurtz (Kasey) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Carter Holmes and Davis Fish; and his siblings, Martha Kallaher (Jim) of Paducah, Geraldine Durbin (Lawrence) of Paducah, James Wurtz of Paducah, Betty Usry of Midlothian and Sandra Durbin (David) of Brentwood, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
