With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce A. Hayes of Paducah, Kentucky, born in Gadsden, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joyce left this world on May 6, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Pickens Johnson and Flimer Flossie Leath; and her brother Charles Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Larry D. Hayes of Paducah; her children, Larry D. Hayes Jr. (Tina Teague) of Paducah and Tammy Hobbs (Marvin) of Paducah; her brother Mike Gaskin (Tammy) of Attala, AL; her grandson Jason Wayne Hines of Paducah; and her great grandchildren, Cy Bradley Hines and Greyson Louis Hines. She is also survived by several step-brothers and step-sisters.
