She was predeceased by: her son Kevin Nichols; her parents, Troy Heflin and Minnie Heflin; and her siblings, Sue Taylor, Nellie Henderson, Kay Myers, Ermil McLeod and Janie Helfin.
She is survived by: her husband Freddie Nichols; her son Robert Nichols; her sister Sharon Woodford (Glen); her grandchildren, Robert Louis Nichols, Wesley Lynn Nichols, Alexandria Lynn Elliot, Sidney Michell Nichols, William Mason Nichols, Jaslyn Scarborough, Kaylyn Scarborough, Whitney Kaletch and Hillary Cobb; and her great grandchildren, Maverick, Cleatus and Brayley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
