She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne M. Powell and Jessie Louise Powell of Benton; and her former husband Charles B. Goins of Lyon County, Kentucky.. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Ross of Paducah and Charles B. Ross, MD (Goins); her grandchildren, Margaret of New York, NY, Julia of New York, NY and William; her brother Robert W. Powell, MD (Lois) of Louisville, KY; and her nephew Dr. David Powell (Angela) of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by parents, grandparents.
