He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jane Kolb Samples; his sons, Brandon Neil Samples of Paducah and Zachary Samples of Dahlonega, Georgia; his siblings, Alicia Purdy-King of Nicholson, Georgia and Gene Lee Samples of Dawsonville, Georgia; and his nieces and nephews, Alexis Farist, Jessica Samples, Zachary Samples, Hanna Samples, Austin King, Brayden King and Stormey Farist.
