He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Onyx Wheeler and Isabelle Sarah Atkinson; and his wife Jean Wheeler. He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Ann Wheeler (JoAnn Miller) of Jacksonville and Laura Allison Wheeler (Gordon Kingsley) of Marietta, Georgia; his granddaughters, Sarah Kingsley-Hart (Emilee) of Pittsburgh and Abigail Kingsley of Washington, D. C.; and his great grandchild Lyle Wheeler Kingsley-Hart.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (823 Kentucky Ave, Paducah, KY 42003). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
