He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Patterson Thistlewood; his children, Kaelin Thistlewood (Brittany) and Tia Wheatley (Bryan); his grandchildren, Brayden, Delani and Kenzith Thistlewood; his stepsiblings, Cathy Smith (Gary), Beverly Jessen (Joe), Carla Schaechtel (Dennis) and James Parham (Christi); and his in-laws, Gene Gillespie, Willie Baker, Anthony Patterson Sr., Kaamil Kemet (Cherron), Debra Patterson-Phillips, Gerald Patterson and Phyllis Thistlewood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (226 N 4th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
