Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leon Vancil of Paducah, Kentucky, born in Fulton, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 90, on August 8, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Otto Vancil and Dulcie Dublin Vancil; and his siblings, Glenn Cyrus Vancil, Betty Lou Ottway, Darrel Henry Vancil, Joe Franklin Vancil and Joyce Ann Herron.
He is survived by: his wife Marjo Vancil; his children, Rick Vancil and Doretta Vancil; and his stepsons, Bill Tidwell and Ed Tidwell. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.
