She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles P. Ward and Emily A. Marsh Ward; her husband Paul Robert Garatt; her son Sean Paul Garatt; and her siblings, Emily Butterfield, C. Keene Ward and Donald Ward.

She is survived by: her son Geordie Garatt (Julia) of Paducah; her grandchildren, Ian Garatt of Austin, Seth Wyatt and Kennedy Garatt of Paducah; her great-nephew Mark Taylor of Paducah; and her siblings, Peter Ward (Gloria) and Bayonne Gowan of Candor, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
