She is survived by: her sibling's children, Charles Darling Armstrong III, James Hamilton Armstrong (Lauren Armstrong), Ian Douglas Armstrong, Erin Rachel Armstrong, Aislyn Mira Morning and Keaton Oscar Armstrong.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Quilt Museum or Grace Episcopal Church in Mary's honor.
