As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maxine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Stanley Wilkerson and Dorothy Whiteside Wilkerson; her husband William Leon Vandry; and her daughter Mary Jo Vandry. She is survived by: her daughters, Lora May Vandry of Paducah, Ruth Ann Vandry of Paducah and Jana Joy Underwood of Louisville, Kentucky; and her close friend Pat Thompson of Paducah, Kentucky. She is also survived by one sister and one brother; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
