He was predeceased by: his wife Felicia Moss; his parents, Julius "Jude" Moss and Annie L. Conner Moss; and his brother Moss Locke. He is survived by: his children, Mary Aiken of Paducah, LaTosha Moss of Paducah, Anica Moss-Menser (Michael) of Paducah, Linda Berry of Wood River, IL, John Berry of Wood River, IL., Justin Pullen of Dallas, TX, Melvin E. Moss Jr. of Paducah, Mahogany Moss of Paducah and Malcolm Moss of Paducah; and his brother Thomas "Tom" Moss of Paducah. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
