He was predeceased by: his husband Henry DeVillez; his parents, James Martin Riggs and Mary Elizabeth Riggs; and his sister Marianne McDowell. He is survived by: his children, Carol Lindsey (Bill) of Sharpe and Scott DeVillez (Lisa) of Paducah; his brother Charles Martin Riggs (Marie) of Paducah; his grandchildren, George Johnson Jr. (Molly) and Maribeth Holloway of Paducah; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Dickerson, Elijah Dickerson, Elle Johnson and Cassie Creason.
