Nancy LaRue Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy LaRue (Paducah, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nancy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father Ned Neuhausel. She is survived by: her husband Walter LaRue; her daughters, Evelyn "Evie" Lightsey and Sara Shoemate; her mother Mary Louise Massaey; her sisters, Sharon Kreutzer (Bob) and Karla Shields (Chuck); and her son-in-law Jonathan Lightsey. She is also survived by grandchildren, 6 step- grandchildren, one step- greatgrandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (226 N 4th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
