Orbin leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Orbin’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Orbin will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orbin Newton Grimes, Sr. and Thelma Guess Grimes; and his brothers, Don Grimes and Herman "Lo" Grimes. He is survived by: his wife Doris Harnice Grimes; and his children, Karen Waddell (John) of Nashville, Pamela Hawkins (Steve) of Paducah, Kentucky and Randy Grimes (Teresa) of Cumming, Georgia.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
