She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Woods-Thompson and Darkus Woods; her siblings, Lisa Sommers and Glenn Woods; and her granddaughter Katelyn Suggs.
She is survived by: her husband John W. Suggs of Metropolis; her children, John G. Suggs (Joy) of Brownfield, Brian Suggs (Shanda Greer) of Metropolis and Casey Suggs (Angie Carlton) of Metropolis; her grandchildren, Tiffany Hynes (Zach) of Grantsburg, John Suggs of Metropolis, Kristin Travis (Granvil) of Belknap, Blake Suggs of Unionville and Kandace Suggs of Unionville; her sister-in-law Barb (Roy) of Brookport; and her brothers, Ivan Woods (Mae) of Metropolis, Randy Woods (Pamela) of Brookport and Mike Woods of Metropolis. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
