Patrick H. Slankard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick H. Slankard of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on May 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mike Slankard and William "Bub" Slankard; and his parents, Henry "Leon" Slankard and Pauline Hubbard Slankard. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bynum Slankard; his children, Sherry Tilford (Daryl) of West Paducah, Sandi Bryan (Steve) of Paducah and Sam Slankard (Linda) of West Paducah; his grandchildren, Jodie Swain (Andrew), Clay Tilford (Mallory), Clint Tilford (Elizabeth), Vance Slankard (Alex), Kayla Gray (Jerry), Blake Bryan (Erika) and Blake Record (Lakyn); his brother Pete Slankard (Leslie) of Paducah; and his sisters-in-law, Saundra Slankard of Hamilton and Sharon Slankard of Paducah. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
