He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Hergesheimer Young; his brother Gene Young; and his parents, Harry L. Young and Marion Wadeking Young Page. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Carvell (Trey) of Paducah, Kentucky and Kara Curran (Matthew) of Paducah, Kentucky; his brothers, Michael Young (Linda) of Paducah, Kentucky and Kelly Young of Paducah, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kiaya Young (Nathan Leatherman), Selena Sullivan (Taylor), Saidee Carvell, Benjamin Carvell, Ethan Carvell, Vannie Carvell, Sullivan Curran (Emily) and Samuel Curran; and his great grandchildren, Maya Sullivan and Elijah Curran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
