He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Gruhlke; his parents, Paul B. Gruhlke, Sr. and Angela Norwicke Gruhlke; and his siblings, Karen Gruhlke and Gerald Gruhlke.
He is survived by: his wife Karen W. Henderson Gruhlke; his children, Jessica Matthews of Paducah and Devin Potts of Paducah; his sister Pamela Gruhlke of Edwardsville, Illinois; and his grandson Daryl Matthews.
