We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2025, at the age of 76, Phyllis Persha of Paducah, Kentucky, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Waitekus and Beatrice Paige Waitekus; and her brothers, David Waitekus, Bob Waitekus, Danny Waitekus, Thomas Waitekus and John Waitekus.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Persha; her children, Suzanne Carlucci (Alex), Melissa Persha and Michael Persha; her siblings, Margaret Schoendorf (Jeff), Chuck Waitekus (Sue) and Jimmy Waitekus (Linda); and her grandchildren, James Tyler Shaddix, Raven Noel Perkins, Samantha Perkins, Brant Perry, Ryan Carlucci and Nickolaus Persha (Elizabeth).
