He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Dowdy Baertschi; and his siblings, Rosetta Mayer, Duaine Baertschi and Donald Baertschi. He is survived by: his children, Larry Baertschi (Gale) of Seminole, Ronald Baertschi (Klae) of Kitchner and Sharon Homerding (Dave) of Leland, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Archie Dowdy of Calvert City, Kentucky and Yvonnda Patterson (Mike) of Paducah, Kentucky. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
