He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Dowdy Baertschi; and his siblings, Rosetta Mayer, Duaine Baertschi and Donald Baertschi. He is survived by: his children, Larry Baertschi (Gale) of Seminole, Ronald Baertschi (Klae) of Kitchner and Sharon Homerding (Dave) of Leland, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Archie Dowdy of Calvert City, Kentucky and Yvonnda Patterson (Mike) of Paducah, Kentucky. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
