In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Renie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Renie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Blunt and Doris Blunt. She is survived by: her husband Don Barger; her brother David Blunt (Dorothy); her son Jeff Pomeroy (Laura); and her stepchildren, Amy Thornton (Brian), Sara Innes (Adam) and James Barger (Sarah). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of adoring friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah (120 Memorial Dr, Paducah, KY 42001). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
