With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Owen (Paducah, Kentucky), who passed away on November 25, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward and Gladys May Patillo Owen; his brother Robert Owen; and his former wives, Juliaette Owen and Ann Owen.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sullivan Owen of LaCenter, KY; his children, Chris Owen (Deenna) of Paducah, KY, Mark Owen (Lindsey) of Paducah, KY, Debbie Denton (Kevin) of Bowling Green, KY, Liz Damron of Kevil, KY, Paula Melton (Tim) of LaCenter, KY and Cristie Johnson (Brett) of Murfreesboro, TN; and his grandchildren, David Denton, Julie Denton Price, Ryan Denton, David Paul Damron, Derrick Damron, Jennifer Mason Perry, Jake Mason, Farah Owen, Ryan Dunaway, Braden Johnson, Evan Johnson, Addi Carrico and Landry Owen. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
