He is survived by: his wife Beverly Lee Meeks; his children, Dr. Natalie Meeks Ballert (John Ballert) of Paducah, Dr. Jillian Meeks Nyquist (James Nyquist) of Nolensville, Tennessee and Dr. Landen Meeks (Van Meeks) of Paducah; his brother Jim Meeks (Natalie) of Memphis, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Anderson Ballert, Lucas Ballert, Beckham Ballert, Ainsley Ballert, Paul Meeks, Jack Meeks, Claire Meeks, Brooks Nyquist, Marcie Nyquist and Miller Nyquist.
