Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen D. Rice and Lucile Harrington Rice; and his brothers, Allen "Sonny" Rice and James "Jim" Rice. He is survived by: his wife Janalyn Devinney Rice; his brother Joe Rice of Louisiana; and his great-nephew Owen Devinney (Bob). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His contribution to both his company and his community was noteworthy, as he was known for his willingness to lend a hand whenever it was needed.
