He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion I. Farris and Bertha Irene Huffman Farris. He is survived by: his wife Edna Dalton Farris; his sons, Todd Farris of Paducah and Kyle Farris (Joy) of Calvert City, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kaylyn Farris, Taylor Oakley (Logan), Kelsey Higgins (Casey), Abbey Blackburn (Colby), Jillian Myers (Austin) and Sam Farris (Eden); his great grandchildren, Ayven, Paisley, Miles, Brinley, Riley Kate, Linney and Emerson; and his siblings, Carol Ann Cox and Kenny Farris. He is also survived by two twin boys on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
