He was predeceased by: his parents, Fulton Coursey and Geneva Reynolds Coursey; and his nephew Brad Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Tomoko "Tomi" Shaw Coursey; his sons, Jason Coursey of Paducah and Justin Coursey (Becca Joyce) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Jaycie Coursey, Chloe Coursey and Jaxon Coursey; and his siblings, Lewis Coursey (Sonja) of Paducah and Delores Via of Paducah.
