He was predeceased by: his parents, George Damon Hobbs and Beulah Betty Hardin Hobbs; his grandson Devin Hatfield; and his siblings, Beulah Witson, Marie McManus, Nellie Dawes, James Hobbs, Charles Hobbs, George Hobbs and William Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Watson Hobbs; his children, Carrie Henson (Chris) of Paducah, Kim Skinner (Donnie) of Kevil and Rudy Hobbs Jr. (Jana) of Ledbetter; his grandchildren, Tiffany Scott (Jeremy), Lauren Hatfield (Azmon), Kelsee Henson, Andrew Hobbs (Stephanie), Ethan Hobbs (Tia), Dalton Skinner and Mya Skinner; and his brother Marvin Hobbs (Tammy) of Paducah. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
