He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simeon Kingston and Gola McKinney Kingston; his wife Mary Lou Hammons Kingston; and his siblings, Holly Jane Lutes, Virginia Hope, Lena Mae Guess, Margie Forsythe, J. B. Kingston, Tony Kingston, Eddie Kingston, Johnny Kingston and Kenny Kingston.

He is survived by: his children, Russell Wade Kingston of Paducah, Wilma Smith (Jimmy) of Murray and Perry Quinn Kingston of Kuttawa; his siblings, Edna Martin of Kuttawa and Billy Kingston of Kuttawa; and his grandchildren, John Russell Kingston, Justin Kingston and Pamela Kirk. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
