With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Barnes of Paducah, Kentucky, born in Pasadena, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2026 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Barnes; her parents, Alfred Proctor and Jessie Yarrow Lansing; her children, Marta Barnes, Melissa Barnes, Gloria Larkins and William Barnes; and her brothers, James Proctor and Donald Proctor.
She is survived by: her children, Melodie Barnes, Gordon Beal, Edward Barnes, Timothy Barnes, Gerald Beal and Jacob Barnes; and her brother Bobby Proctor. She is also survived by grandchildren; a peck (45) of great-grandchildren.
