Shirley Barnes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Barnes in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Sam, Mac, William, Robert, Wilbur, Mary and Faye; her children, Winifred and Michael; and her family Methodist. She was also cherished by children, her precious nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law, and innumerable devoted friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities of St. Louis, the tornado relief fund (Storm Relief STL).
