She was predeceased by: her parents, George Powers and Ruby Henson Powers; her daughter Renita Kennedy Miller; and her brother Acre Powers. She is survived by: her husband James of Paducah; her son James S. Stice of Paducah; and her grandchildren, Sara Beith of Paducah, Adam Kennedy of Paducah, Eric Kennedy of Frankfort and Matthew Stice of Paducah. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
