Steve Smith Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Steve Smith of Paducah, Kentucky. Steve, born on February 10, 1953, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harve Smith and Effie Smith; his wife Beverly Smith; his siblings, Sheila Smith, Dennis Smith, Bobby Smith and Roger Smith; and his sister-in-law Janice Leath.

He is survived by: his children, Lesia Reniker (Roger) and David Bearden (Stephanie); his brothers, Harve Smith (Celia) and John Smith (Cindy); his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Smith and Frankie Leath; his grandchildren, Chad Bearden, Kelley Ellis, Richard Bearden (Ashley) and Samantha Hay (Sam); his great grandchildren, Gage McKinney and Pam Bearden; and his great great grandchild Zaliana Bearden.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kansas Cemetery.
