She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Spraggs; her parents, Oscar Cope and Mary Naoma Cope; her sisters, Mable Dowdy and Mildred Sullivan; and her granddaughter Tammy Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Spraggs (Tina) of Paducah, Anthony Spraggs (Liezel) of Maricopa, James Dowdy of Mayfield, Letitia Jackson of Cape Girardeau and Vernita Spraggs of Paducah; and her grandchildren, Legina Pyron, Stephanie Smith, Leslie Spraggs, Brandon Spraggs, Amanda Bolduc, Tommy Dowdy of Paducah and Isabella Spraggs. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy-Health Lourdes Hospice.
