He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Ridgeway Sr. and Nellie Mae Carson Ridgeway. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Ridgeway of Paducah; his children, Dr. Lori L. Ridgeway of Cincinnati, OH and Anthony Ridgeway of Paducah; his granddaughter Kara Ridgeway; his great grandchild Jaylyn Anthony Taylor; and his siblings, Sylvester Ridgeway Jr. (Gail) of Apopka, FL, Betty Mason of Indianapolis, IN, Rosetta Chism (Raymond) of Lexington, KY, Barbara Ridgeway of Lexington, KY, Janice Jackson (Jarold) of Lexington, KY and Norma Ridgeway of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
