He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Mathis of Paducah; his children, Christy Mathis (Kenton Riley) of Louisville, Cher Youngblood of Paducah, Michael Mathis of Lexington and James Eubanks of Eddyville, Kentucky; and his sisters, Lois Gail Hudson (Ricky) of Mayfield and Deloris Ross of Cuba, Kentucky. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
