He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Montgomery and Fannie Thomas Montgomery; his children, Carol Denise Bouldin and Mark Montgomery; his daughter-in-law Julie Buchanan Montgomery; and his siblings, Frances Leeds, Betty Montgomery and Bill Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Janet Herndon Montgomery; his sons, Steve Montgomery (Connie) of Lexington, KY and Keith Montgomery of Wiggins, MS; his grandchildren, Chad Montgomery (Mary), Ashley Johnson (David), Kelly Montgomery and Sean Johnson (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Trent Johnson, Addison Johnson, Carter Johnson and Miles Shelton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
