With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Hankins (Paducah, Kentucky), who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Joe F. Gore; and her parents, Archie R. Barrett and Moriene E. Barrett. She is survived by: her husband Carl Hankins of Paducah; her children, Ricky Gore of Paducah and Teresa Gore DeWeese (Alton) of Dothan, AL; her stepchildren, Brian Hankins (Kerry) of Metropolis, IL and Deena Bowman of Herrin, IL; her siblings, Lena O and Bill R. Barrett (Carol) of Burna, KY.; her grandchildren, Christie Weathers (Jon) of Dothan, AL and Brandon DeWeese (Megan) of Varnville, SC.; her stepgrandchildren, Hailey Laxton of Paducah, Charles Beach of Lexington, KY and Karly Hankins of Paducah, KY.; and her great grandchildren, Emily Weathers, Anna Weathers of Dothan, AL, Mason DeWeese of Mountain Home, AR, Ellie Kate DeWeese and Amelia Rae DeWeese of Varnville, SC.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
