He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit Luther Sanderson and Nora Terry Sanderson (Tankersley); his wife Dorothy Sue; and his daughter Diana. He is survived by: his sister Gloria Don Cannon; his children, Wayne (Karen Sue), Erich, Bobby (David) and Susan (JR); his grandchildren, Justin, Zach (Jayne), Tyler (Emma), Ana (Brenden), Katheryn and Jonathan; and his great grandchildren, Delia Sue Sanderson, Caroline Rayne Sanderson, Sofia Mae Soyster and Ayla Rae Soyster.
