As we bid Wendell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Wendell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Jean Cooper Ordway; and his parents, Earl Ordway and Lizzie Mae Watson Ordway. He is survived by: his children, Sheryn Ann Ordway of Madison, Marcia Jean Ordway of Dallas, Texas and Alan Wendell Ordway (Alicia) of Richardson, Texas..

He was also a Kentucky Colonel, an honor that reflected the respect he earned through his character and contributions to his community.
