It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lawrence Blatzer of Paducah, Kentucky, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Blatzer and Mary Blatzer; his sister Linda Blatzer; and his in-laws, Fred and Bernice Windbigler.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Hecker; his brother-in-law Tim Windbigler; his brothers, Edward Blatzer and John Blatzer; his nieces, Becky, Pam, Susan and Beth; his nephew Eric; and his grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Christopher and Cameron.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Community Kitchen (1237 Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Paducah KY, 42001).
