He is survived by: his children, Kara Johnston (Brian) of Paducah, Kelly Anne Lavery-Maurer of Scottsdale, Katy Mitchell of Phoenix, Kasey Rodriguez (Justin) of Scottsdale, Arizona and Bill Lavery (Amy) of Rockford, Illinois; his siblings, Maggie Caviezel (Jim) of Broadlands, Virginia and Mike Lavery (Nancy) of Moline, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Brian Johnston, Billy Johnston, Johnny Maurer, Makenzie Mitchell, Noelle Lavery, Will Lavery, Mady Rodriguez and Kylie Rodriguez.
