He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otis William and Bessie Mae Hawkins; his wife Patricia Ann Hawkins (Owens); his sons, Steve Hawkins (Michelle) of Paducah and Darren Hawkins (Lisa) of Paducah; and his siblings, Glenn of Paducah, Charles Wayne of Paducah, Gaylon of Paducah, Leon of Paducah, Kenneth Ray of West Plains, Nedra Cole of Benton, Eudell Prince, Eva Mae Freeman and Lillian Henry. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
