We bid farewell to Carol Mace Stapleton (Paintsville, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 25, 2025 at the age of 76. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Mace and Jatama Mace; and her husband Herbert Stapleton Jr.. She is also survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and siblings.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
