With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Corbitt Burns of Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Burns and Virgie Bolden Burns; his daughter Emma Castle; and his siblings, Mary Lou Williams, Magaline Blackburn, Doug Burns, Jay Burns, Ray Burns, Roy Burns, Carl Buck Burns, Rex Burns and Smith Burns.
He is survived by: his close friend Deborah VanHorn; his son Anthony Burns of Paintsville, KY; his nephew Tony Burns (Christy); and his sister-in-law Iris (Glen Burchett). He is also survived by one granddaughter, two great granddaughters, one grandchild.
