She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sergent and Ora Ann Lemaster Baker; her brother Carl Lee Sergent; and her brother-in-law Jimmie Ratliff. She is survived by: her son Jordan Witten; her brothers, Larry Sergent (Beatrice) of Paintsville, Eddie Sergent (Karen) of John's Creek and Michael Sergent (Jamie); her daughter Tess of John's Creek, Kentucky; her sister-in-law Tracy Sergent (late Carl); her siblings' child Zac of Staffordsville, Kentucky; her sister Teresa Ratliff of Staffordsville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Hattie Ann Witten and Reid Tyler Witten; and her close friends, Brenda and Tammy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
