She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Penix and Sophie Ward Penix; her husbands, Eugene Robinson and Villis C. Stepp; and her siblings, Roma Penix, Ernest Penix, John B. Penix, Jr., Chad Penix, Marybelle Wells and Vivian Setser.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Robinson (Nannette) of Paintsville, Kentucky and Sheryl L. Robinson of Paintsville, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Brandie Collins (Mark) and John Ryan Robinson (Sonya Bramley). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
