He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Burchell and Ellen Gray Burchell; his daughter-in-law Synthia Burchell; and his siblings, Sue Bowman (Ellis), Nellie Schlachter (Ray), Ollie Reynolds (Ralph), Tina Mahanes (Tommy), Judy Abney (Clarence), Robert Burchell (Nancy) and Phillip Burchell (Sharon).
He is survived by: his wife Nell; his sons, Darrin Burchell and Keith Burchell (Tracy); his sisters, Jean Cox (Eddie), Pat Asher (Ray) and Mary Ann Rainey (Paul); his grandchildren, Tristan Burchell (Lakyn), Shaine Burchell (Maria), Rebekah Burchell and Casey Stamper; and his great grandchildren, Malcolm Burchell and Quentin Burchell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
